Jenny Holzer, Midtown Manhattan (3)



Midtown Manhattan.
Jenny Holzer projects her own words and those of others onto the front of the Pennsylvania Hotel. Passersby are oblivious, perhaps blinded by the Fox News billboard at 34th Street. This Creative Time project has moved around the city for the last few nights and moves to the skies tomorrow. See also 2004.10.01, 2001.02.21.

Update: The poem projected above is "Some People" by Wisława Szymborska.
