People coming off the Manhattan Bridge into Brooklyn. It was a strange parade of refugees. There were many instant volunteers here offering them water and snacks. People were so eager to feel that they were doing something to help.
I got halfway across the bridge on the lower-level walkway and considered going into Manhattan, then decided against it. There was a man coming across on crutches. He turned down my offer of water.
